We can remove most spots & stains and carry a number of specialised products for the safe elimination of odours. We also offer a range of after clean treatments including anti-bacterial deodorising / sanitising, dust mite, anti-static, stain protection and fire retardancy. We can also remove chewing gum & blu tac quickly & efficiently without damaging the carpet.
We offer several different methods of carpet cleaning:
1). Steam carpet cleaning or hot water extraction - Using our very powerful van mounted petrol driven machine we can thoroughly deep clean your carpet using steam if required and we dont use your electricity or hot water. This method is recommended by the worlds largest carpet manufacturers because of its deep cleaning capabilities. Carpets are left damp for a few hours after cleaning, the drying time will vary depending on the type of carpet fibres, the thickness of the pile and the temperature / humidity / ventilation in the room. Low profile man made carpet can be dry in an hour, thick piled pure wool carpet can take upto 24 hours to completely dry.
2). Low moisture carpet cleaning - Using a rotary machine with the latest micro fibre technology cleaning pads we can clean low profile carpet quickly and quietly with this method. This method is preferred when cleaning commercial carpet as its quick, quiet, effective and the carpet is dry in about 30 minutes.
3). Dry carpet cleaning - For delicate fibres and certain carpet types dry compound carpet cleaning is the only safe method to use. It can also be an excellent method when carpets are needed immediately after cleaning and being left damp is not an option. Dry carpet cleaning uses sticky granules or absorbant sponges which are agitated into the carpet which attract and remove the soiling. They are then left for a few minutes before vacuuming up using a specialist machine which incorporates contra rotating brushes and very powerful vacuum system. This method leaves the carpet bone dry when finished and ready to walk on!
Carpet stain removal:
We are able to remove most carpet stains completely or at least reduce them considerably. The level of success will depend on the carpet type, what caused the stain and whether anything has been used already to try and remove the stain. We carry a wide range of specialist stain removal products each developed to remove specific stains.
We have successfully removed or reduced the appearance of following stains on carpets: Coffee, tea, red wine, fruit juice, lucozade, cherryade, coke, orangeade, curry, bolognese, chilli con carne, orchid pollen, oil, grease, paint, ink, beer, makeup, fake tan, nail varnish etc.
Scotchguard / Carpet stain protection treatment:
We are able to apply stain guard treatments to new or freshly cleaned carpets. We recommend having a stain guard treatment applied to all carpets especially wool or nylon carpets. This treatment will provide a protective layer or barrier to stop spillages penetrating the carpet fibres immediately. Its not a bullet proof solution, it will however buy you some time to attend to the spillage using a clean white towel to blot up. If left for some time the spillage may still penetrate the fibres causing a stain but acting quickly will prevent this from happening.
Flood water removal and drying:
Using our very powerful truckmounted cleaning system we can undertake flood water removal, cleaning and sanitising. We can remove vast ammounts of water quickly and safely from all types of carpets and hard floors.
Firstly we remove the contaminated flood water, we then thoroughly clean the carpet, sanitise and deodorise using specialist anti-bacterial treatments.
We then leave industrial dehumidifiers and large fans on site to speed dry the carpets.
